Buying fence by the container lowers your cost per meter, but only if the order is planned well. This guide walks through the steps we follow with distributors, lumber yards and contractors who import aluminum fence from Türkiye.
1. Send the right information for a quote
- Fence styles and heights, for example flat top and spear top panels
- Colors (standard or RAL) and quantities per color
- Gates, posts, caps and hardware needed per run
- Destination country and port or postcode
- Packing and labeling requirements, including private label
2. Plan the product mix
Most distributors fill a container with a mix of panels, gates, posts and accessories. Ordering gates and posts and hardware in the same profiles and colors avoids mismatched components later. Aluminum is light, so a container holds far more fence than the same container of steel.
3. Approve a sample
For a first order or a new style, approve a physical sample of the panel, finish and packing before production starts. It is the simplest way to avoid surprises at arrival.
4. Lead time
At Porfence, standard sizes usually ship in about one week, subject to stock. Custom production takes three to four weeks depending on order tonnage. Ocean transit comes on top of this.
5. Choose delivery terms
| Term | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| FOB Türkiye | You arrange ocean freight and import from the Turkish port |
| CIF your port | We arrange freight and insurance to your port; you handle import |
| DDP your warehouse | We deliver to your door with duties paid |
6. Packing and arrival
Panels are packed in export cartons or crates and can carry your brand. Clear labeling by style, height and color makes unloading and stock control much faster.
